It's real. It's been reported on multiple times, multiple devs have commented on it, a huge amount of information, ranging from employee information, Wolverine trailers, sales data, internal company presentations, and a lot more.

Ransomware attack was reported a week ago.

Asked for $2 million, leak of 1.3 million files 1.6 TB of information

Spoiler for Hidden:
Insomniac only made $567 profit on Sunset Overdrive. Meanwhile, they've made almost $47 million on Spider-Man 2018.
Sales numbers and profit margins

Man that profit from sunset overdrive is bad

SWORDF1SH

Well that sucks. I'm seeing this all over Twitter and the Xbox fanboys are concentrating on the negative stuff. It felt fake but it's because of their focus. And why are people surprised Sony are threatened by CoD? Sony tried to stop the acquisition and we also saw court notes of Sony expressing how much of a threat it is. It's obviously a threat.

That's $567k, right? Right!?

Nope.
Made a very slim profit.
$50m revenue - $42 million development costs - publishing costs - etc = $567.

That's crazy to think I earn double in one week than a  game made by hundreds of people over a couple of years.
It's not strange to see games lose money but it's weird seeing a game make a profit on such a small margin.

It's incredible seeing behind the scenes with these sales numbers. Really sucks that they came from a hack instead of an investor briefing.

Numbers don't fully make sense though and it's definitely wrong to read the chart as revenue minus costs. The royalty rate only lines up perfectly for their mobile titles. Everything else is way off and some games still have a large IG share despite development being way above net sales.

No clue what the $567 means for Sunset Overdrive.

I was assuming that was because of some missing information. Like Marvel's cut of the revenue doesn't appear to be included anywhere. If there are some particular publishing deal agreements (something like we'll give you 70% of every copy until your game breaks even, then it'll be 85% after that, or something like we'll pay you $250k up front; I assume that hypothetical $250k would be a + for IG share, despite not being shown anywhere else on the chart. You could get something like $0 revenue, $80m development covered by publisher, $250k up front = IG Share of $250k.)

A lot of assumptions there could very well be wrong, but I thought it was pretty consistent with what I was seeing.

I would imagine that Meta was going to be more gracious with their publishing agreement than MS would be.

Yeah definitely missing information, but so much is missing that the remaining numbers might be misleading without that context.

I assume for Song of the Deep and Sunset Overdrive that they made $0 and failed to break even, just like Ratchet and Clank Nexus. The $106 and $567 are probably odd quirks since it's so unlikely that a $49 million dollar game would break even but only by such a small amount.

i guess it's my fault for thinking insomiac's monster productivity would last forever but that is soo far off.

looks at the PC numbers,...

...why bother.   for such small sales sony is better off maintaining the image of exclusivity to playstation.

I&#39;ve seen some different timelines, including one where they have a Venom game come out in 2024/2025, and Wolverine comes out in 2026.<br>

The tricky thing in all of this, is that some of the documents are outdated.
I'm assuming Wolverine is 2025.

maybe but it has SM2 in the exact right spot.

i think it's time for everyone to reluctantly accept that with insomiac not releasing anything in 2024 that playstation will not have any games coming out in 2024.

So does this one, with Wolverine in 2025:
