Gamepass is a scam

Bought a laptop from best buy. Says it comes with a 1 month gamepass subscription. Went to redeem, and it's only usable on new accounts!

There is literally no mention of it only being for new accounts until after you buy it. You can find that information elsewhere on best buy's website but if you just shop for a laptop there is no fine print or clickable link that says it's only for new accounts.


Bet you expected this op to be about something else, but I wanted my $17 freebie!

first i'm hearing that MS employees had that benefit.  that's actually a pretty big percentage of gamepass subs there.
