According to VGC

QuoteSports Illustrated's GLHF says the studio held an internal meeting today and told staff that it planned to lay off around 20 of its 135 employees.

i mean what do you expect when they really haven't done anything since before Dreams.  Dreams was cool, but I doubt it made much money

but sucks though

Shame that this happened. This was once was such a promising and prominent Studio for Sony. LBP added a unique flare to the PS3 gen. But they haven't done a "real game" since tearaway.

Legend

Ouch.

Have they ran into trouble with a new game, or is this still just Dreams?

Crazy that they never reversed course and made it more like a game engine game. Roblox makes billions.

I imagine they're cutting less needed people in between Dreams and the new game.

MM is still pretty big.

They hired a lot of people from the Dreams community for Dreams specific stuff so I'd imagine a lot of the 20% are those people.

not surprised.

I still have love for MM but there hasn't been much to love in a long long time.
