I love 10 hour games and would love if we returned to PS3 level sequels that only take a couple years to make.

Just a bit worried that even these smaller games will be filled with bloat and not feel like PS3 gen pacing.

The Uncharted TLL and Miles Morales both seem to be pretty well liked due to not having the bloat. A lot of people even put TLL 2nd to Uncharted 2.

I didn't realize Call of the Mountain was built in Unreal Engine.

Is the Horizon multiplayer game confirmed Decima or could it be Unreal too?

I wondered about that.
I imagine that was developed more so by Firesprite.  

I imagine if Horizon Online is developed in-house it'll certainly use Decima, maybe Unreal otherwise.

It really feels whenever Naughty Dog announce their latest game they need to knock it out of the park. I'm sure they're aware releasing remasters and remakes compared to what Santa Monica, Guerrilla and Insomniac have released isn't the best introduction to the gen. I truly hope ND are working on a new IP which wows people when shown.

Glad they made Horizon instead of Dark Science.

Horizon has been growing into my favorite current playstation series.

I always feel twitter followers of studios is a good indicator of a studios growth and presence. Guerrilla is a pretty good example. I remember the Killzone twitter account had around 32k followers. Guerrilla's twitter account currently has 545k followers. It's a really good demonstration of how Horizon utterly transformed the studios reputation and presence among gamers.

Schreier seems to be suggesting that TLOU Online is not cancelled.

I"ll take that as a non-statment on NDs MP game and more of a pointing out the source is not trustworthy.   

nuance maybe but there is a good chance that he knows nothing specific about the game.

Wonder if Sony will end up saying something. If it was cancelled they'd need to make a statement eventually and if it wasn't cancelled then refuting the rumor would be good pr.

Yeah I don't think TLOU online is a game you can just slow hide under the rug and hope people stop asking. ND will need to put out a definitive statement but with Sony it's probably all about optics. They'll announce it to coincide with some good news or updates on games from Hermen who has gone MIA since May.

TLOU Multiplayer was never announced was it? If so, why do Sony or ND have to confirm it's been cacancelled?
