Game glitched immediately at the start and wouldn't progress so that was fun.
I only played one or two levels but I had a glitch that launched me all the way across to the finish. Was appreciated.

Played Mount and Blade 2 Bannerlord. It's a pretty fun and cool game but its limitations really got me hyped about Forged Odyssey if I ever go back to it. Diplomacy and personal interactions were really lacking. I married my brother off to a queen and I didn't get a single thing out of it! I thought she was joining my house since the game never said anything about it being matrilineal. At the very least the game should of made our houses allies. I had to execute my brother just a few months later after she declared war.

I decided to just go on a rampage executing everyone since there isn't much else to do in the game. Pretty much all the quests are just boring ones that increase a relationship counter. The most fun way to increase a relationship is to just fight people and release them, so the game becomes so pointless once you're tired of the combat.

Played Medieval Dynasty. It kinda sucks. I have no idea if the game wants me to go on an adventure or settle down because both options are pretty poor. Crafting is a joke with something like a hammer taking a third of a tree's wood. Everything takes too long yet there's simultaneously nothing to do except run back and forth for fetch quests. I got a person to join my settlement yet she takes so long to collect wood. A regular city builder with fast forward options could be a lot more fun, or at least give me more flexibility.

I think I want to play more Warhorn. That game was super small yet handled a lot of these things better.

Rarely happens that I see a game breaking bug, but to see one literally within a minute of starting a game doesn't feel like it bodes well for things. :P

Thought Harvest Moon/Story of Seasons would be a reasonable game for Ben.

Instead I've played like 2 hours of it today...

I've played it more than I played FF XVI today...

Lol

But id argue its better you experience it at the start rather than later on. I only ever experienced one game breaking bug, and was with ZombieU. (I think they just called it Zombie) on PS4. Apperantly it was a bug that was present on the WiiU version, got fixed on there, but then when they ported to the PS4 they didn't port it with the fix. Its literally a game breaking bug as you can't progress after it. And no matter what you do you can't undo it. And they had the audacity to release that game on PS+

Ouch. I've had a few quest breaking bugs in various games but I've never lost a whole save.

Echo. Watching a playthrough but I think I might buy it, idk. Gameplay isn't for me but lots and lots of cool things.

i just made a thread about returnal because that deserves it's own thread.

...but also just plat'd humanity last night.

overall very good. legend or Pi (probably) made that post about games that change their genre part way though. that might not be exactly how i should describe humanity but also i will anyways. early levels were what i expected and very "puzzle" game. late levels much less so. it's probably inaccurate to call it an RTS but it felt more like an RTS than a puzzle game. i did enjoy it for what it was but also i wanted it to be more of a puzzle game.

had amazing style though. i loved the way the levels appeared when you started a level and the music was very solid all the way though.

Fudge. Decided to buy it but missed the sale. Maybe it'll be 75% off next week :P

Been jumping around some games again.

Started Diablo 3 after finishing FF XVI. It feels like a different kind of game. The moment to moment gameplay mechanics don't feel very engaging to me, but the progression systems are pretty great. Like I don't like the combat at all, but it's still awesome to be able to crush an army with ease.

Played like 2.5 hours of Skyrim yesterday. There's lots about the game that isn't very well done. But like as a package, it does so many things that I've yet to see another offline game do all of.

Also playing formerly Harvest Moon/Story of Seasons: Friends of Mineral Town. A real fun time.

Have I got the game to recomend for you ;)

I think it's funny how often I return to games like skyrim, just to mess around for a bit.

Oh yeah! Fallout 4 is another one on my list.

Spoiler for Hidden:
I want to get an Xbox before I get Starfield. Unless by some miracle it ends up getting ported to PlayStation in a couple years.

I still want to play fallout one of these days. Maybe I'd start with new vegas.

I've been playing Baba is You. Didn't know it existed until I was recommended it a week ago. Not that deep onto it but I'm liking the need to consistently think out of the box. I can imagine this game getting crazy complex in later levels.

I talked about it a fair amount but I spam a lot so that's fair.

It's really great.

Probably not taken an interest because I've always been put off by Sokoban style games. I judge games way to often on looks and sokoban games never really caught my attention. Baba is You has just opened up a whole lot of games on my radar.

Moving on to Starfield, I'm maybe a few hours in and probably won't play more. I just think I don't like RPGs that much. I always love the idea of RPGs and get sucked in but I never follow through. It's like I get to a point of realisation that i have to pump 100s of hours into it and i don't feel it's worth it for me.
Starfield looks great and is a great game but this was the reason I wasn't sure if to Game Pass it or buy it. Game Pass was the right choice.
