So I ordered a bundle of Little Mermaid movies.
I thought it would be fun for the kids to watch the two movies.

Got the discs today, and saw a strange message pop up when I put the disc into the computer. "Little Mermaid II and Little Mermaid III"

And that is how I found out there are 3 Little Mermaid movies.

Disney's direct to home sequels sure are something.

I liked Aladdin 3 as a kid. Had a golden hand.

Gran Turismo Reviews - Metacritic

46 on meta. Not that good.

Gran Turismo: Based on a True Story - Rotten Tomatoes

Yet somehow a 98 from audiences on rotten tomatoes.

Gran Turismo is pretty good. Saw it today and yeah I'm really confused how critics got it so wrong. I went with my mom for cheap $4 day and she even liked it more than I did.

Also finally saw barbie. Was fun and clever but kinda dragged on.


Barbismo is gonna catch on guys!

Tbh it seems like critics are getting it wrong a lot anymore. I don't know what it is lately but I've been feeling like I can't really trust critics on movies, tv, or games anymore

My friend watched GT too and said it was great. But I dont trust this guys opinion. He usually lets his biases play a factor his judgement of movies.

He loves Denzel, so be considers the equaliser to be a great movie. When in reality its just John wick ordered from wish.com

Liking Equalizer, no bueno.

GT was far from perfect, the beginning before they got racing was pretty slow, but they did so much better than I expected.


Also a few times they showed the video game full screen and they had to recreate it as ugly cgi. The real game would have looked like real life and confused people.

Yeah critics in aggregate suck.

If you watch videos/read articles from the same reviewer over and over then it's not too bad. You can really get a sense of how they approach things.

High praise. 

They also handle that one spoiler thing well. I think people finding issues with it are just wanting to create issues.

Don't want to hype the movie too much though. I was ready to apologize to my mom when it ended since I thought she was super bored.

Somehow, "Barbie took second" after Gran Turismo feels like a goofy thing to read.

Sony really wanted #1. The movie has had "previews" for two weeks and all that money is counted as opening weekend.

Updated numbers move Turismo to 17.4 and drop Barbie to 15.1 though so it may have won the weekend either way.

Miyazaki has failed to retire a 4th time

I'll be glad to see more Studio Ghibli movies either way.

What did anyone else think of the new little mermaid? Watched it on disney plus and thought it was so freaking bad.

Cinderella, beauty and the beast, and jungle book are all great.

Aladdin and Lion King were more mixed but still fine.

Then mermaid and pinocchio are these fever dreams that make no sense.
