Highest grossing week in AMC history thanks to barbie and oppenheimer

Wanting some good news from AMC? It doesn't get any better than this. In addition to last weekend being the highest grossing AMC weekend in 4 years, the week of July 21-27 was the highest grossing for AMC in our entire 103-year history. The best in ONE HUNDRED AND THREE YEARS !!!

i mean yeah a bit.   they could do inflation adjusted but that means setting new records wouldn't happen all the time.  i think they like declaring a new record because it's basically a form of promotion.   

"hey you,.. everyone else is watching this so you should too"

With movies it's really common. Big ones like Avatar are genuine record breakers but so many random films reach a billion dollars nowadays.
