First Avatar.
Silence.
2001 A Space Odyssey.

Can't think of more at the moment.

I feel like I have a hard time building a full top 5 list.

These are definitely my top "2"/4.
Lord of the Rings
Your Name

There's tons of movies I rate very highly, but I'm not sure which ones would round out the top 5 list.
Dark Knight, Interstellar, PIrates 1, Inception, Matrix, Interstellar, Spirited Away, Good Will Hunting.

Oh A Silent Voice, that's gotta be up there too.

Alien is another one I'd rate super highly. I'm a huge James Cameron fan but his movie sucks compared to the first.

Somehow I never noticed that the ring changes size to fit on the users hand.

I know that thanks to the internet, but I haven't watched the movies in decades so I never noticed myself.

Watch out Mario, new video game movie gonna dominate the box office.

It helps so much that these movies used practical effects so extensively.

So gorgeous.

Making puppets look like puppets? That seems too difficult.

it was either this thread or the tv show thread where i talked in length about how i hate it when i can reconize the voice of an actor in an animated film.  it's distracting and immersion breaking.

same argument here.  not going to say that actor can't ever act again after being in Gaurdians but he's face is soo dang distinct that even under massive amounts of make-up and only like a 1 second glimpse of this face in the trailer all i could think was "drax".   it pulls me out of the experience.

Not the best Dune trailer imo. Looks like mindless action which is not what I care about.

Halfway through the second LOTR.

There's been a handful of scenes that look a little off. Either perspective looks a little off or generally looks duller than the rest.

One of the scenes on the wall very much looks like several people on a green screen set.

Watched Nimona on Netflix, thought it was great. I think my biggest complaint was that the movie could have been a little longer.
