Well... at least I got it at the lower price. :-X
Haha as a person that doesn't really care about super heroes, $7.99 sounded like a normal msrp for this.

I feel like movies usually bottom out at $2.

$0.27 felt absurd to me.

They'll have to make up some plot

Haven't seen mario or played tears of the kingdom yet but it can't be that hard. Just set it during the fall of hyrule where zelda and all his friends are alive, but have him win.

Big release date changes to avatar. Lots of other movies got pushed around too

I can't even fathom a movie releasing over 8 years from now.

A few random things:

Does anyone remember the "widescreen" DVDs, and "fullscreen" DVDs? It's a little funny to think that widescreen is actually fuller than full screen today.

I'm not 100% sure how big this was. But older movies were captured on film, so those can get reprocessed and turned into 4K basically. But it seems like there's a funny era where quality was basically lower, after film, but before high resolution digital video. So there's a lot of movies in the middle that are basically worse than older ones and newer ones quality wise. And that's a little funny to think about.

It also kind of makes me sad that there are tons of movies and tv shows that are made in 4:3. They will forever have rectangular black boxes on the sides of our TVs. Although VR/AR is a great possibility to get around that....

I like the bars on 4:3 content. reminds me I'm old skool.

Watching Super Mario Bros

Spoiler for Hidden:
It's a little weird that everyone outside the Mario family just looks like a regular animated person.

Wow. 2 and 3 were filmed at the same time so unless it's doing reshoots, this is just a marketing+polish delay.

So sad. 4 being delayed from 2026 to 2029 is also crazy. A third of it is already filmed.

Disney must really have faith in them after way of water. Wonder how many spinoffs will fill the gaps.

It's gonna become a two parter lol. That's what happened with Avatar 2 after all the delays.

Always went with widescreen. It's funny that it was even a thing.

Yeah i'm assuming with the huge success of way of water that they are gonna make sure he has the time he needs. way of water is disney's biggest succes in the past year

and hopefully they realize they don't want too much avatar fatigue to drop box office sales. This will hopefully keep anticipation up
