I missed this and the xbox show. What happened in this show? Was it any good?

It was a traditional Ubisoft E3 show with live dancing and costumes.

Avatar looks good and star wars looks great.

watched like half of that outlaws gameplay video.  looks pretty good.

I'm so worried about Avatar's story. Rewatching the trailer and the writing is insultingly bad. Do you think these writers even watched the movies?

"I was trained in their ways, their technology, their weapons. Things that a Navi should not know."

Neytiri in the first movie happily went to a human school and learned English. In the second movie the Navi regularly use human technology and weapons.


Obviously the navi are the good guys and the humans are the bad guys, but that grey zone in the middle is where most interesting conflicts in the movies happen. This game seems to be actively against that.

edt: In the main trailer the player character says "I was a child of two worlds. I am no longer. I AM NAVI."

Meanwhile the gameplay trailer "as a child of two worlds, you can learn to master multiple combat styles." Then "for a more explosive approach, you can leverage you human training and go for the blast of an assault riffle, a shotgun, or go bigger with the occasional rocket launcher."

I don't think these writers even paid attention to their own game lol.
