So NotE3 is over. What did everyone think?

I didn't mind having shows spread out over a few days, but some of those days were way too skimpy. Would have been great if there were more shows between Devolver and Xbox.

Starfield was the game of the show imo, with Star Wars Outlaws in second.

i think i'm more adamant then ever that "showcases" are dumb.  clearly gamers don't even like them.   this back to back to back trailers format is boring and so are CGI trailers.   i'd prefer a world where a new game is announced every week with some actual depth to the announcement than these showcases.

Plenty of gamers talk about Sony's E3 2015/2016 showcases 7,8 years later.

They're not going to talk about that random Friday when The Last of Us Part 3 was announced. Several million people watched the showcases.

People are clearly interested in showcases, even when they're disappointed by them. People just want big showcases with several good games shown.

Sure if the trailer is good, but the first trailer often sucks. Tlou2 reveal trailer was really fun at psx 2016 but in a random tweet it wouldn't be as fun.
