How often do you buy software (non gaming)?

[the-pi-guy]

I buy tons of games. But I'm kind of realizing I barely buy software.

So many great free apps, web browsers, media players, even lots of free game engines and free 3d modelling software.

I've only bought like 3 pieces of software in the 2.5 years I've had this computer. Windows 10 was one of those 3.

I think the only non game non microsoft software I've bought was solidworks.

only what my company buys for me for work purposes.   personal use software is all ad driven.
