I tried AC1, but never made it through. AC2 supposed to be a lot better, but I didn't want to skip the first game. So I never played...

They are making Project Awakening, which this is not.

and i'm out again.  i loathe fighting games that are in the "platform" sub-genre

A lot of games are too similar for me. Fantasy monster fighting games don't do it for me and it's a huge portion of the show
