I fudgy hate era too, they are all acting like they knew this and was obvious, yet if you said anything like this before you were considered a lunatic or a troll.

first off,.. duh.

secondly,.. fudge off era.  i've seen dozens of threads claiming it increase sales.

lastly,.. clearly both of these statements can be true.   

yes,.. we've seen developers say that putting their game on gamepass lead to higher sales than expected.   you'd need to be completely daft not to notice every single one of these developers making these statements are low-profile indie developers that clearly have sales targets in the tens of thousands.

not one AAA developer has been positive on gamepass.  you'd need to be completely daft not to think a game like CoD on gamepass would lead to massively diminshed revenues especially for a publisher like activision.    they make billions of $ a year on that franchise.   MS would have to literaly hand over 100% of their gamepass revenues to activision to make it finacially worth it for activision to put CoD on gamepass day-1.    when you've a rabid base of gamepass fantics all saying "gamepass has saved me soo much money" it should be really fudgy obvious that it's having a negative affect on AAA 3rd party publishers.
