less content to pull from though. like,.. maybe that make a season on the time between games 1 and 2 and still it's only a three season show.

generally speaking Sony is one of the last big content creators that isn't trying to have there own streaming service. they have content all over and that's working for them.

as a PlayStation fan I wish all their PlayStation content was on one service but Sony probably can't find one that would do all the content they want to create.

Sony probably makes more money being able to bid specific entries. Networks are probably more likely to invest more on the shows they think fit their audience.

Man what a good episode. Lots of changes shown in this episode in regards to the infected but it definitely feels better for TV. And it's a welcome change to give people who have played the game something different and new.

The intensity of some of the scenes makes me feel exactly like I felt in that certain section of the game. So good

Massive hit for hbo. I know Neil has said they are basically just gonna adapt the games but dang there's so much world they could explore.

Yeah the show is eventually going to have to expand beyond the games. Let's hope it can keep up the quality

1. not at all applicable to your post but it annoys me that google is soo biased to TV. if i google "the last of us" today the top results are all related to HBO as if the series doesn't even exist in a video game format.

2. i fear for what HBO would do with the show without the video game lore to bind it. i don't know how they'd justify it but i know they'd have bella ramsey getting topless and doing something stupid like mass shooting a bunch of people. ...probably while topless.

Adult Swim cuts ties with Justin Roiland (Rick and Morty)

It was recently reported that Roiland was being charged with domestic violence.

And it also came out that he has been inappropriately texting children for the past ~7 years:

i've never watched the show so i'm pretty indifferent to its loss but i am glad to see justin facing consequences for his actions.

....not sure if you could just higher an impersonator and continue the show without paying a large sum of money to justin. my understanding is he is much more than a voice actor on the show.

He's considered a co-creator, but I think Dan Harmon does most of the writing.

Adult Swim is continuing Season 7 without him, and probably seasons 8-10 or whatever they're contracted to do yet.
