Never heard of Nordisk. Does this mean the quarry did well or poor?

Always expected Sony to buy them after until dawn, especially since they used Decima.

i did too but that was a different era.   maybe sony just aquires nordisk now...

from what i read this acquisition was in progress for a long time now so i don't think it particularly indicates one way or the other how the quarry did.

They own Avalanche (Just Cause)
They bought 30% of Supermassive last year. So this isn't a totally new thing

Their 3 titles with SIE after Until Dawn were not great. So it's not terribly surprising.

I'm curious what Sony is doing. They kind of teased that there would be more. And yet it feels like most of the obvious choices are already getting picked up. And they've only made 1 acquisition since.

Quote"We should absolutely expect more," he told GI.biz. "We are by no means done. With PlayStation, we have a long way to go."
"But elsewhere in the organisation, we have many more moves to make."

who else would you expect?

tbh most of Sony's acquisitions surprised me.  like I never heard of nixxes before they were aquired.   no one saw evo coming.

I just really want ember labs to go to Sony.   kena was sooooo good.

I kind of meant the opposite.

All of the obvious feeling choices got picked up by other companies.

Sumo (Sackboy) got picked up by Tencent.

Ready at Dawn, Sanzaru got picked up by Facebook.

Some studios I could see Sony acquiring:

Arrowhead games (Helldivers)
Deviation Games (similar to Haven Studio)

I feel like deviation is a given.

is tarsier still available?  Sony has worked with them a lot.  lbp vita was amazing.

I don't know who else is even left that's notable. ...but I'd be down for a bunch of indie lvl devs.

ember.  supergiant.  drink box.  ect.

...or just buy fromSoftware.

Tarsier is owned by Embracer.
