i'm sorry,.. this was announced for 2022??   i thought this was still TBD with a personal expectation of years away.   early 2023 is much sooner than i expected.

Electronic Arts is now internally targeting an early 2023 release for its upcoming Dead Space remake. The company was originally considering an October 2022 timeframe, but it never announced that publicly.

When is the Dead Space remake release date?
Neither publisher EA or studio Motive has provided a release window for Dead Space remake. A VentureBeat report from August last year pointed to a late 2022 release date, though the same report also said we'd see more of the game before the end of 2021. All we saw was some very inside baseball limb-cutting footage, which... wasn't much. You can read more about that below.

2022 rumor does not make this a delay.   fudge "insiders" and trash media reporting rumors as facts.

i'm not exactly yelling at you (the messenger).   i'm seeing quite a few official news reports calling it a delay.   i just think that is trash reporting.

i never believed the rumor in the first place.  that one gameplay demo they released looked awfully rough to me.   when i saw that i assumed late 2023 to 2024.
