this is the sequel to GoW,.. it's such a strong foundation that they literally cannot fudge this up.  i'm not sure where the story goes from here but i have faith it will be good.   all they really need to do is make more and more interesting bosses and this game will be amazing.   people may think its not as groundbreaking as the original but i cannot see it dropping below a 90.

One one hand i can see it doing a lot better than ZD. But so many people (like me) will wait till they can get a PS5 and there aren't much PS5s out there. Like just 20 million.

But im gonna predict 3 million week 1

Horizon ZD sold 2.6 million in the first two weeks. Big but not record breaking for Sony.

3 million in the first week seems likely.

- PS4 version looks great, better than ZD.
- PS5 version looks a generation better.

It wasn't record breaking for Sony, but certainly started the trend of huge releases that weren't ND games.  The only other games that did that before were

Uncharted 2.7 million first week
The last of us 3.4 shipped first week. (On PS3).
HZD actually broke the record for fastest selling new Sony IP on PS4. Thought it didn't have much competition. But compared to infamous (1M in 12 days) and bloodborne (1 million in 9 days). Killzone (2.1 million shipped in 3 months). It was a huge jump.

I haven't seen any tv or youtube ads for this game. Both Tlou2 and ghost were pushed heavily.

I can't say, I haven't seen many commercials of anything in the first place.  

I have seen some of this though.
