oh boy.  100% of the reviews talk about how hard it is saying it will take hours just to learn the mechanics. 

not sure I'll like this one. 

 I can deal with high difficulty in games like dark souls where the game requires learning strategies and timing but have fairly simple combat mechanics. 

but precision combat with a complex move sets is another thing entirely.  I just don't have the brain for games (like mortal Kombat) that require learning large amounts of complex inputs.

Seems like one of the more divisive titles.  

Lots of sub 75's and lots of 90+.

I don't mind those types of games, but they're the absolute worst to come back to.

for me I basically entirely avoid the genre.  

smash is the only one I've ever really liked because the move set is simple enough and every fighter has the same button presses.  
- light or heavy attack
- add up, forward, or back while doing light or heavy attack. 

it's approachable and can be played as a button masher if you really just don't care to learn the depth of the moves.
