Unity buys Ziva, shows very high quality facial animation

it's detailed but still very uncanny.   i just watched a handful of "monologues"...
... and would offer these critiques.


1. people blink a lot more than in that video.  like a lot more and often times in quick succession. 
2. no one every looks directly into the camera for 2 straight minutes.  looking away and back again is a key part of human expression and they need to add those movements in-line with the dialog to be convincing.  basically, people look away in those moments they are thinking about the next thing they want to say.
3. hands,.. hands are also a big part of expression too and need to be just as detailed and lifelike as the face.  no hands and dead shoulders is distracting.
4. the skin is too smooth.  i see they put "dimples" and "brow lines" into her face but they are still very smooth.  real people have hard lines form when they move their face.

It's a real person that's recorded. The acting isn't impressive, it's the real time deformation.
