also played and replayed an awful lot of lego games with my kid.


not exactly my best year.  i played a lot of games i didn't even want to play that much lol.  ...but i did have about 4-5 months of not playing anything due to my home remodel which i followed up with 3-4 months of home projects that took a lot of free time.   just generally speaking didn't feel like playing games that required a continuous commitment to remember story or controls.  i've kind of gotten back into gaming now so 2022 should be better because i'm expecting to get to:

ghost of tushima
shadow of the tomb raider

there are lots more in my backlog but these are games i really, really want to play but just have been putting off due to being in a bad mood.

New games as in released this year? I've only bought Mass Effect, Hades as new games.  I'm sure there's a handful I'm missing I've been buying a lot of games this year. Haven't played any released this year.  

Played a lot of games though.  Demons Souls, Dark Souls, Cuphead, The Witness, bunches of others.

Yeah I was just thinking of games played near launch, but all lists are great.

I hate it but ps+ and gamepass feel like free games most of the time.

Maybe since Epic often has the same games for free free.

it's probably because  games on gamepass or ps+ are typically worthless...


...i'm glad i didn't direcly pay for maquette.  one of my worst games of the year.
