So horizon in feb
GT7 in March
Forespoken in May

3 AAA exclusives in 4 months. And we still don't know when GoW will hit, could be April. Im thinking June or July though.

and that's just sony.  3rd party has a few heavy hitters in that timeframe.  not sure if you heard about it but there's this game called "eldin ring" you should check out.  i think it could turn out pretty good..

I'm hyped for WW

I"m curious about SW eclipse.

Alan wake looked good.

slitterhead looked terrible to me.  maybe it's good for horror fans but I'm 1000% out already.

horizon, eldin ring, for spoken all looked good to me.  hellblade, I mean I never played the original but where the fudge is the gameplay in that gameplay trailer?   the lighting was excellent and I love the art direction but I think I'd rather watch it on YouTube than actually play it.

Hellblade was cinematic gameplay. You can see the walk animation repeats once the camera is locked over the shoulder, so that's controller driven walking. Very good looking animations and transitions but doesn't look fun.

Also I think there was a pause before she would throw stuff. Could be a quick time event.

okay, well commitment made.  i bought kena.

a bit more expensive than i wanted to pay but in the end
1. i'm rich.  $27 is nothing to me.
2. ember labs is a small team.  they need support more then sony, MS, SE, EA or whatever.
3. kena may not be perfect but its exactly the kind of game i wish the industry had more of.   cute and colorful instead of violent and dark while still having high quality production values instead of going super cheap or super kiddo.   i decided i should put my money were my mouth is and do what i can to make this a success.  hopefully ember labs next project (or sequel) can maintain this feel while being a more ambitious game.
