Sounds like a great TV. My Sony has held up for over a decade and still looks better than cheap modern TVs.

Been considering a bigger and better TV myself. Between that and LG OLED for sure

My current TV is a cheap Sony. 7 years old now, still looks decent.

But it's time for a 4K 120hz tv. 8)

Didn't actually order it until today. Should be here on Saturday.

I don't know if I'll ever spend this much on a TV again. Just seems like a good time to get a TV that my PS5 can actually use.

How much was it?

It's on a good sale for $1300.

I might be completely wrong and feel like a nice TV is a must, but I spent like 1/3rd of that on my last TV. Not really used to spending money like this on a TV.

I'd probably go for the slightly cheaper X80J instead, in a different scenario.

I only replace tvs when they break, so a great tv is a great investment imo. Unlike modern fridges and washers they can actually last a long time.

edt: oh my gosh my newest tv is 10 years old.

Wow tvs are cheap in the US. Its probably like $4k here

Also, don't feel bad about it. TVs always last several years and you'll be glad you have all the bells and whistles this TV has!

Edit: Nvm thought it was the OLED Sony makes. It's still $2.5k here tho

My first TV with any of: 120 Hz, 4K, HDR, smart TV. 8)

65" is awesomely huge. I don't think my family has ever had a TV quite this big. My parents had one close.

The couple of things I was worried about (reflection handling mostly) hasn't been an issue whatsoever.

I kind of worry that the TV is "too good". Not sure if it's a result of the size or if there's something with motion. Was watching psych, and was hyper aware of every movement by the camera.

There are at least 3 new rumors of different playstation classics coming back

Spoiler for Hidden:
Sly
Wipeout
Twisted Metal
Not sure if there's any credibility to the first one.
A few people have apparently thrown their hat in for the rumors.

And there's another big rumored title

Make sure you remove any motion processing among other things. Can cause soap opera effect
