Anyway I wish we got a broader look at the game but combat looked great. It feels like a solid upgrade over the first.

Felt like a traditional sequel which makes sense considering it's also on PS4, but I'm still hoping it has a trick up its sleeve like flying mounts.

lol we saw combat and a bit of traversal. If that's the only thing Horizon had I wouldn't play it.



I wanna see stuff that teases new story beats, or how npc conversations have changed, or how missions are structured.

I think we got a decent idea of the story for this game, we haven't seen conversations or towns yet but that'll come. This gave us: some new weapons, vastly improved melee/ human combat system, focus scan for climbing to allow closer to full free-climbing, paraglider for traversal, underwater traversal, a good look at a few new machines. For a single showing of gameplay that's a lot of stuff.

Just saw it. Looks awesome. They improved a lot it seems on the original but keep the core. Looks awesome and a lot of fun. Definitely will wait till I have a PS5 for this

It's funny that the glider from BOTW has been copied the most. I'm really looking forward to it and the grapple hook. Hopefully you can release early and launch yourself a bit.

I also am really interested in the scanner for climb points. Is this just a way to break up the visual monotony of guano covered ledges or is there something else to it?

Seems Sony struck gold with horizon. This game is gonna be absolutely massive. I wonder though if it can beat the launch of the first one. Specially with a much lower PS5 install base.

I hope SSM add a new IP to that list.

Theoretically after the massive success of spiderman (and the failure of avengers) Disney would want another partnership with Sony for another IP. Do we think that will happen? If so what IP? Will it be marvel?
