Bethesda games will be exclusive to gamepass supporting platforms, with a few exceptions

Phil Spencer just said this on the video in a pretty clear way. Games with existing contracts will still be developed and games with active communities will still be supported, but the goal is to make as much as possible exclusive.

Cool so this deal was just about paying a truck load to stop lots of gamers having access to lots of big games.

A little less clear cut.  How much legacy are we talking about? 

This feels like the 3rd most likely scenario, pushing Gamepass.

It feels like they are at least keeping the door open to TES VI coming to PS.  Starcraft is probably dependent on contracts. 

Oh well.

Will probably get an XSX next year.

this is perfectly clear to me.

xbox = gamepass and gamepass = xbox.

phil will happily bring all of their first party to any platform that will happily welcome gamepass.   your move sony.
