CDPR legal response

CD PROJEKT SA: Czasowe wstrzymanie dostępności gry Cyberpunk 2077 w PlayStation Store - Bankier.pl

The Management Board of CD PROJEKT S.A. with a registered office in Warsaw (hereinafter referred to as "the Company") hereby publicly discloses the decision of Sony Interactive Entertainment (hereinafter referred to as "SIE") to remove Cyberpunk 2077 from PlayStation Store until further notice. The decision was undertaken following our discussion with SIE regarding a full refund for all gamers who had purchased Cyberpunk 2077 via PlayStation Store and want a refund at this time. All copies of the game previously purchased digitally on PlayStation Store remain available for use by their respective buyers.

Gamers can still buy physical versions of the game in retail and mail order stores. All copies, whether digital or physical, will continue to receive support and updates from the Company.

The Management Board of the Company has decided to publicly disclose this information in the form of a current report due to its potential influence on investment-related decisions.

Cyberpunk came out a week ago.

The company went from being quite loved to being a huge laughing stock.

Sony thought it would be better to delist the game in the middle of the night, making it an exclusive to another platform.  And to one of the biggest games of the year.

All of this happened in a week.

The backlash this game is receiving is down right historical.

my god, it must be hard being soo right all the time...

CP delisted on PS store!! Major opportunity for Stadia to snatch all those PS4 users. And possibly Xbox soon. : Stadia
Also delusional to think anyone refunding the game would want to touch Cyberpunk anywhere else right now.

This is all quite glorious honestly. CDPR are a shaming company and Gamers defended them way too much, this is exactly what they deserved. Hopefully people will stop holding them in such ridiculous high regard for the popularity of just a single game. They've shown they're not a top dev like R* or ND here who can be trusted to put out an outstanding, perfectly polished game each time.

Tbf CDPR has always been very pro-consumer. GOG case in point. Money drove them to madness, it seems.

Xbox is keeping it up. If they are fine with refunds, I think that's fine. Not like people can't enjoy the game.

Bestbuy offering refunds too.

is cdpr public or private?   are we going to see how bad their financials are after this because at this point this is going to be the biggest bomb the industry has ever seen.

Officially in the 70s. Wow. Should have been unthinkable.

Quote from: Legend on Dec 19, 2020, 04:53 PMHey it is like skyrim with a save bug! (But kinda worse)

PSA: Your save file is capped at 8mb on all platforms : cyberpunkgame
I don't remember Skyrim having that kind of bug.

Just major stuttering issues when you got to like 10 mb.

This is so much worse.
