Yes.

Don't rush the game and embrace what it is. Lots of really cool mechanics. One of my games of the gen.

will my experience be diminished by not being their day 1?   part of the game was spoiled for me in that other peoples games affect my game.   i don't have the fully context of that statement but i kind of understand it.

I don't think so. The game seems to do a good job of sorting that out.
