PS5 |OT| now with PlayStation Portal

I'm reading a lot on Era and other places that PS5 seems desperate to get you to play the PS4 version of every game you have. Like if you have a PS4 disc you can do the free upgrade and download the ps5 game, but your ps5 keeps constantly trying to install the PS4 version as well. And when you select cross gen games in your library it defaults to the PS4 version and downloads that first.

It seems so weird, I think the ps5 firmware and OS came in extremely hot.

not looking good for my ps5. Still doesn't say out for delivery today. Shall see. I'm hoping amazon has some in their warehouses at least so they can ship me another.

i'm kinda looking at it as a good thing with there being some issues with the ps5. Maybe by the time i get one some issues can be ironed out.

even though i really fudgy want it. lol

there is a queue on sonys direct store. Wonder if they have more stock. Says i've got more than an hour wait. Maybe i can snag one just in case if they are and i get in

yep the in stock tracker i'm looking at says its in stock on their site. Crossing my fingers i get in and get one

my wait has sucked considering the amazon one was suppose to be here friday. Still didn't show up today. Likely lost or stolen at this point.

dang, Amazon.de has already lowered the price for PS5 launch games. I kinda expected that to happen but I couldn't help myself and still bought Demon's Souls and Spider-Man earlier in store (for 75€ and 60€ respectively). DS is 73€ now and Spider-Man is 53€.

Also my PS5 still hasn't been dispatched.
