Seems like Avengers is a big surprise. Impressions are glowing pretty much all round, sounds like the campaign vastly exceeds expectations hitting the same kind of quality you'd normally expect from a third person adventure from Crystal Dynamics.

It looks as though they've done what, imo, every GaaS should. Make a really good lengthy campaign and then build a GaaS looter grind almost completely separate which just uses the same gameplay mechanics.

Reviews aren't coming in yet, but seems like it could be in the 80s.

i started but only played like 5 hours of this game.   not sure that i'll ever come back but it's awesome that they are providing this as a free upgrade.   CD Projekt is certainly a pretty consumer friendly developer these days.  makes me want to buy cyber punk 2077 even though im' not hyped for the game.

not a good opening.   i have no idea how this, gothic knights, and that suicide squad game will be able to coexist.    too many GaaS and too few gamers interested in that ship.

I'm guessing Suicide Squad will review better.  
Avengers will likely be bigger.

Yep I think the initial buzz from the campaign exceeding expectations was strong but the lack of polish and the repetitiveness of the rest of the game are driving home and a lot of reviewers are punishing the game for it. There's more high scores than expected but also more scores in the 5-6 range than expected are balancing it out.
