Is anything happening with gamescom? Should we be watching it?

UploadVR is kind of hilarious.

They report on Sony stuff because PSVR.
But a lot of stuff about Sony doesn't have much to do with VR.  So we get articles that end with "this might not have anything to do with VR, but it's fun to speculate".  Or slightly more related, PSVR compatible PS5 is coming out this year!

Like this article:
Sony Says PS5 User Interface Is A Complete Overhaul From PS4

PS5 UI, but almost half of the article is wondering about a VR UI.

Wow
7 million on steam?!?

holy duck.   to the best of my knowledge there have been no discounts yet so that a cool $140 million in revenue not including ps+ or microtransactions.   i can't even imagine how much grounded must of sold.  it's still #1 on the steams charts for games by that name.

Yeah 7 million is insane. Being on Plus definitely helped it a lot

Fall guys success is absolutely crazy. They're really raking in the money from steam. Ps+ just shows how most people don't download the games each month (me included). I wonder what was the previous game to hold that record.

One positive thing out of all this price rise stuff is UK digital prices, it would seem. On the PS store, new games have been £60 as standard for a while now which is super high. Physical can be a bit variable, but usually you can find games for less than £50, meaning digital is £10+ more. With a $60 before tax price, you'd expect a £55 price tag in the UK with tax included, so the digital price is £5 too high and physical you can find cheaper than expected.

Digital at launch is a rip off, basically.

Price for next gen is going up $10, but both 2K and Activision have listed £65 as the next gen price on PS store, so only a £5 rise. This means digital price falls more into line, as a $70 US price tag before tax would give a £64 expected UK price.

Its still a price hike, but it means digital stores are only £1 instead of £5 more expensive on new games than they should be in the UK. We've yet to see what physical stores will be selling the next gen games for. If its a big price hike I'll be annoyed because I'll be paying more, but it would at least make digital more of an option at launch.

not just 7 million.  7 million in like 2 weeks.   this is probably tracking higher than GTA IV.  xD

Yeah, how in the world.
Well it's an appealing concept, cheap, multiplayer and got good publicity
