Looks like a miles better UI than XB1

I wonder if between Phil's comment about being more flexible about announcements and this being dropped is a sign they took stuff out of the (show?).

okay a few things:

1. i really don't fudgy care about the people presenting.   i don't care about your name.  i don't care about your title.  stop wasting my time with all of these introductions.  just put their name/title on the screen if you must and let them talk about the content i can to hear about.

2. the video was pure marketing fluff.  lots and lots of talk about how things should be better but no actual content showing how these concerns have been addressed.  i'm a playstation guy so someone who games on an xbox may have seen hints of changes in the flashes of screenshot but to me the amount of content on "the new xbox experience" was basically 0: home load 15% faster is a meaningful thing.  40% less memory is not.  and "phones", whatever that means.

what i want is an actual demo.  show me how the interface works.

3. the girl was hot.

Yeah I didn't come away understanding what the ui actually is, but it sounds like they've made some new improvements.

Also it's the exact same thing they did last time around for the new console. Make a new UI for the new xbox but port it to the current xbox. I remember there being some fears that Series X wouldn't get a new ui.

didn't xbox one get at least 2 significant revisions over the course of the generation?  i'm pretty sure 360 did as well because i remember everyone missing the "blades" soo much.

at launch or not i don't see any reason an xbox fan should be worried.  playstation fans should be much more worried.  playstation added a handful of features like folders but fundamentally it is the exact same interface as it was day-1.

Yeah xbox changes their UI during generations too.

The fear was that Microsoft was treating Series X like One X and would just slap on the same UI that everyone was used to.
