i think the highlight of the show was the halo start screen. that moment when we knew gameplay was going to be show but before we saw the gameplay was the most excited i was for the whole show. xD

5/10 show I think, maybe 6/10. Lots of new games but most were just CGI trailers.

Anyone else still confused about the Tetris Effect multiplayer expansion being xbox timed exclusive, even though the game is currently not on xbox?

Yes, absolutely bizzare. I guess that dev team is just selling to the highest bidder at every stage.

PS5 was better in most ways imo. Also gets a big bonus from having the console reveal.

This show was fairly disappointing.

1.) A few of the bigger games that would have made it a good show, barely got a showing at all. Fable and Avowed probably would have interested me a lot if there was a halfway decent showing.

2.) Some games looked a bit rough. That first character model that we see in Halo, I don't think he'd look out of place on a PS4 game, and maybe even some of the more impressive PS3 games. I was very much expecting a "Recorded on Xbox One" message. (And I was hoping it was because of the streaming. Demons Souls on PS5 looked 10x better in the screenshots afterwards, but Halo looks just as rough in the 4K video).

3.) And to think some were worried about the PS5 holding back the XSX.

4.) But there was a solid lineup of games, and MS definitely has a lot more to show.

So I didn't watch this, as I'm over giving MS the time of day, but looking around online it looks like reactions are pretty mixed leaning towards negative?

People, including "insiders" where hyping the shame out of this, so what happened here?

A good amount of games, but very little game play.
More interesting games barely got a showing.
Halo which did have a good show, looked poor. (Halo 4 might look better).

Insiders tend to know very little. Like if a person knew Obsidian were going to announce a new AAA rpg but they didn't know anything else, they'd hype the show.
