Sony announces PS5 games conference

The bets are:

 Neither Ghost of Tsushima nor TLOU2 will be the first presentation
 Max Zoom call participants on screen on a single grid will exceed 15
 There will be a next gen game announced to be free
 Horizon 2's subtitle will have over 8 letters
 "Solid state drive" will be said over 7 times (SSD does not count, has to be the full words)
 We will hear a variation of the phrase "transports you into the game world" under 3 times
 Something or someone will be presented on a pedestal with fog effects
 Silent Hill will reveal itself
 Knack will show up
 There will be a Nintendo nod
 Microsoft will wait more than 1440 minutes to announce the Series X price, after the PS5 event ends?

Oh it's time to start hype! I'm treating this like the first Sony E3 in 3 years, plus a new gen!!!

Need to watch the EA vid first.

I'm going to do a few crazy bets:

- at least 2 surprise studio appearances.  PD, GG, Sony Japan feel like safe bets.  But I think we will get a couple surprise studios that no one is expecting.  Out of (SSM, MM, ND, Sucker Punch)

- BlackLivesMatter statement will open the show.
- we will not get a price
- BC for ps1 and ps2 but not ps3
- TLoU and GoT get free updates to ps5 awesomeness
- horizon 2 as a "launch period" game
- we'll see the box and i'll think it is ugly
- we will not see psvr talked about (aside from maybe a mention that we'll be talking about this later)
- at least 12 games will be announced
- at least 3/4 of games announced will be 3rd party
- at least 3/4 of 3rd party announced games will be multiplat with xbox
- Jonathan Blow will announce a new game (okay,.. this is just wishful thinking because i loved the witness)
- at some point in the show we'll see an "elevator" and that will dominate the post-show discussion as a way to disparage ps5.
- sony will announce a studio acquisition as part of a game announcement

-Horizon Zero Dawn 2 is the first game shown, starts with a demo. Killzone Shadowfall was the first PS4 game so it's poetic.
-Jonathon Blow does not show up, unlike the PS4 meeting. He has been doing a lot of live streams about one of his upcoming games and it doesn't look ready for a big reveal trailer.
-Killzone is never mentioned.
-No webcam people. Either zero faces or professional setups will be used.
-No mention of Souls. Remaster/remake is happening but a next gen console reveal is not the time for it.
-New IP from Japan Studio closes the show. Re-imagining of Bloodborne. Similar gameplay but different setting.
-VR will be talked about.
-Price will be announced. $399. (I don't expect it to be this cheap but it would be cool)
-The majority of games will be first party or have some form of exclusivity.
-Spiderman 2.
-Cerny will show up at some point to talk about really cool tech in a somewhat awkward way for mainstream audiences.
-At least one trailer will end up being CGI.
-~6 new big game reveals. Most will have relatively long showings. Rest of time will be on PS5 tech and features.

ugh,.. i'm probably letting myself feel too hyped for this.   i'm soo going to leave disappointed.

During the PS4 meeting, my dorm had a fire drill.

During the first PS4 E3, we hosted a birthday party for my aunt.

I hope I get to watch all of the PS5 event live but time will tell lol.
