To have an ideia of the actual player engagement in GTS.

Gran Turismo Sport: Around 1.5 Million Players Participates in Daily Events | NeoGAF

~1.5m participates in Daily Events
~3.5m participates in "casual" lobby races.
~358k participates in FIA Championships.

Quote from: SWORDF1SH on Apr 02, 2019, 04:24 PMEvolution did mess up the launch not due to the quality of the game but the online portion which was a major part of the game. What I mean the game was all there and ready to go but online issues messed it all up. Polophony have excessive development time and released games not up to par for the last decade. Evolution have created and handled several IPs pretty well within the same time frame (excluding DriveClub launch  ::) )
At the very least Sony should of dropped DriveClub and maybe put them back onto MotorStorm duties. The racing on there was fantastic.

Well we will agree to disagree... DriverClub didn't have the scope, polishment or even the amount of content found in GTS.

Ludicrous Speed

I can see delisting it but shutting the servers down? Those costs are surely peanuts to Sony.

I'm amazed that they went from Motorstorm with Evo to Driveclub and then shitcanned them and yet Polyphony has made GT a shell of its former self and takes 20 years between games yet are still open.

Just ask yourself which one of the games give Sony $$$.

Even the worst seller GT games (GT6) still give Sony tons of $$$... maybe DriveClub never reached that state.

And I disagree GTS is the best state that the franchise ever was in terms of quality.

Evolution also didn't have the time, team and budget of Polyphony. I just feel Evolution would do much more if GT were in there hands.

That could be disastrous.

We should never had GTS that way :(
