Yes well he did say with an enormous, crazy cyber monday Switch could take the lead. PS4 has pretty much been sold out all day while Switch has had some good deals, so it figures that they'll be close.

Do you guys remember that epic November NPD thread where that, not-so-insider said "7-10k diff" or something like that, and everyone went crazy, but it turned out he was completely wrong/ trolling. Maybe the surprising 7-10k diff in November can finally come true

I mean it's possible. Switch has some fantastic deals this year with a lot of retailers. I think it's gonna be an awesome month for both, and I am ready for Smash Bros to be the next Spiderman

They do state that each console sold very close to each other, so each around 100k. I expected a bad week for PS4 with its shame deals, and indeed it is down by around 30% from last BF, but it still won the week which its crazy. I guess XB1 and Switch weren't as good as I expected.

As a result, Xbox One exclusives such as Forza Horizon 4 (No.5), Minecraft Master Edition (No.33) and Forza Motorsport 7 (No.34) all shot up the charts, with sales rising 535 per cent, 1768 per cent and 573 per cent respectively.
PS4 exclusives Spider-Man (No.6), God of War (No.21) and Detroit: Become Human (No.35), saw sales rise 634 per cent, 1283 per cent and 826 per cent respectively.

Gotta love the BF week % jumps.

Do you see Xev why all that panicking was undeserved? Ps4 beat xbox despite insane xbox deals. Sony don't do panic promotions in the UK. They have created a valuable brand and are now reaping the profits.

Lol who said I was panicking? I don't care about who beats who, I just thought Sony were crazy for offering such shame deals. And indeed, last year they sold 143k+ in the week, so they may have been down as much as 33% YOY. Seems like I was about right.

I just overestimated how much xb1 and switch would sell, well switch was about what I would have expected, xb1 is pretty weak though.

Well PS4 only narrowly beat xb1, so I don't think I was far off. XB1 was well up YOY while PS4 was well down.

Sure, but MS will take expected sales into account when they decide how much to ship.
