Console wars aren't good for anyone and are it doesn't matter who wins( well for the sake of my stock I want Switch to sell well but I want all 3 to sell well). And to add, Switch was 100% expected to beat PS4 this year, with its crazy high shipment target and of course with ps4 being in its 5th year now and starting to decline. They're both in such different positions, so it doesn't really make much sense to directly compare them anyway, but the fact ps4 has a small shot a finishing above Switch for the year is a testament to the strength of Sony's platform.

I'm just hoping that they both do super well, I love both of them as consoles and they both deserve every sale they make. I'm rooting for Switch to manage the first 2M+ month in a long time, with Smash being a huge launch to propel it there. Would also have been bonkers to see PS4 have a peak year for its 5th year, but well I guess that's still possible, needs 2.7M from the next two months.

Also Switch finally ran out of stock on amazon uk, that lasted so long with how well it was selling!

UK charts are delayed slightly due to two retailers sending their data late. Should still come out today at some point. Here's some news though: first week sell-through of fallout 76 was about 25%. Oof.

It's true though that amazon has become like a little mecca for Nintendo fans. The same as media create. So they can ice all over themselves about how well Nintendo are doing even though nationwide its not doing nearly as well as amazon suggests.
