I've just started red dead 2, played like 4 hours already. Wow... Just fudgy wow. It's so amazing so far.

I've seen a lot of people complaining about the first chapter but I absolutely loved it. It wasn't until chapter 4 that the game reached that level of excellence again for me.

If they're complaining because it's slow then that won't bother me. A game as long as red dead can sometimes benefit from a slow start.

God of war is by far my GOTY from the games i played this year. On my 3rd play through atm. New game plus.

God of War goty for me so far. I'm only in chapter 2 in red dead though I think and so far it's pretty great

I've actually played all the main GOTY nominees except MH:W. I think I'd rank them:

God of War
Red Dead Redemption 2
Celeste
Spider-Man
AC Odyssey

I'd rate them all over 9/10. Good year.
