15" screen, 7 hour battery life.

15 inch is too big. Get a 12 inch with a 10+ battery life.  You'll be surprised at how heavy 15 inch laptops are.

Eh.  My current laptop is either 15 or 17.  I like the moderate big screen.

Nice. Your CPU is a bit better than my desktop CPU, and everything else is a lot better than my desktop haha.

Well, the 1060≈970.
But, it's actually better than my desktop too...
Actually I think our desktops are fairly similar, iirc.  You, me and Tacos i thinkI think built similar beasts.  Except I think Tacos got 2x 970's.

Funnily enough, my math independent study this semester might be what pushes my computer the most this semester.

This one is open to whatever I want to use.

Might end up using Matlab for a physics assignment, though.

My 15 inch was hurting my back in University ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Eh, I'm used to carrying too many books.
To be honest, I'm blown away by how light this laptop is.

New laptop is so much better than I expected.

The case looks great and very solid.  Great hardware, and the cooling system seems solid.  Lighter than I expected.  Mouse is kinda cool, but eh.

Literally my only complaint is that the charge box is a little big.
