Yeah, 50/50. That was a terrible shootout. Croatia scrape through after a poor performance. If they play like that against Russia it'll be close. If they play like they did in the group stages they'll be fine.

This world cup is awesome though. All the "big" teams are getting their asses kicked. Good riddance Germany. And it's great that Portugal are out as well. Spain are boring as fudge and just pass the ball between their midfield and defence so good riddance as well.

Let's just hope France gets knocked out soon and everyone I dislike is out!

Well that's true. That's why I'm very worried. But, there's a positivity around the squad that I haven't seen before. I think Southgate has a good thing going, so we'll see. At the end of the day, we just need to perform to our best against Colombia.

Agreed with all that. As much as I dislike France as an Englishman, they are exciting to watch. However, so are Uruguay and its always great to see Suarez and Cavani play, they're just outstanding, especially for their work rate and commitment. So I'll be rooting for them over France.

Yeah of course I  just wondered why you only mentioned the faking. He's one of the biggest yucky ducks in football, but there's no denying he's world class. Plus I'm English so I'm forced to support the opponents of the French anyway

Suarez creates a lot and works incredibly hard, Cavani is better though yeah. I was saying to my mate that I'd take either of those two on my team instead of Messi or Ronaldo. It's infuriating watching them stroll around doing absolutely nothing for their team except for when the ball is given to them. I'd take a hard worker over that any day.
