I don't follow leaks so idk about new games, but I thought Red Dead would be at a conference for sure.

Yeah I'm surprised rocksteady didn't show their game. A part of me expected RDR to not be there. It's just annoying how little Rockstar are showing of it considering its out in 4 months (supposedly)

Lack of FF7 remake was shocking to me

Not to me.  They're probably way behind and are waiting for new hardware.

Figured Watch Dogs 3 would be there, but since like every Ubi gets leaked it shouldn't have been a surprise is wasn't there.  

I just hope the franchise isn't dead.

I doubt it's dead. Just no need to show it till 6 months from release.
