Do you have an uncle that works at Sony?

The game is a bit different than I was expecting.

There are a lot more little puzzles and climbing sections than I expected.

Some parts are pretty hard. There are some timed segments that are pretty challenging under the time limit.

Spoiler for Hidden:
Kratos' isn't this horrific monster that I expected him to be. So far at least.

The only part that was awful was when he drags the soldier in the cage all the way to be burnt alive as a sacrifice.
Yeah in the first game he's just a bad dude, and God of War is pretty famous for being full of platforming and puzzles, I'm surprised you didn't know.

All I knew was that Kratos' was supposed to be a bad dude and that it was an action game.

That's literally all I knew.

I just avoid conversations about games I haven't played.

That's commendable actually. Because then you get the surprise of discovering these things while playing, which is always better :D

They took it a lot further with the sequels, especially 3

It's not so much ratos is "bad", it's they wanted to drive home that his revenge is everything and nothing is going to stop him. Makes his transition all the more powerful in God of War PS4
