That's such a funny problem nowadays. It even happens with x/pro since most of the times the cutscenes are only 1080p.

Cutscenes still look like a PS2 game.

I'm struggling to find pictures that match the cutscene quality that I've seen.  This is admittingly from a youtube video of the second game.  But it's pretty representative of what the first few GoW cutscenes looked like.
