or is it gonna be too low.  if detroit and spider man review as well as this the ps4 could possibly sell more than last year.  At the very least be even yoy.

5 million first guys? Seriously? That's almost double what uncharted 4 did. And that was hyped to death and recieved similar scores.

I'm thinking over 2 million is possible. Hard, but certainly possible.

It'll be the biggest launch in the US by far for a Sony game I think. It's tracking for it according to a sales insider on Era.

Over 2m is certain, not just possible lol. Question is, will it just be 3-3.5m or go beyond that?

Yeah but uncharted's strengths are outside of the USA for the most part. If I remember correctly it just sold 1 million in the USA in its first month.

GoW has traditionally been weaker in EU, and that's a huge market, if not the biggest for PS4. While I think this game will help the franchise grow there, I don't think it will be as strong as UC4. So It will even things out. GoW certainly has a bigger install base now than when UC4 did, almost 35 million more, which will help it.

But I don't think you guys understand how big. 5-6 million opening week is. That's how much uncharted sold in months.

Remember uncharted 4 had a lot of help from the good word of mouth that TLoU built. Naughty Dog are the shame and considered as one of the best, if not the best Dev around. And TLoU helped a lot with the hype for uncharted.

While SSM certainly proved that they still got it, and are a fantastic studio after ascension under delivered. Their name doesn't spark awe like ND does.

Over uncharted 2's massive 2.7 million in one week is a very very tough thing to achieve. I personally don't think it will, but if Im hoping and predicting between 2-2.4 million. Which would be massive.

Yeah 5m+ is impossible for an exclusive. That's the kind of opening week only franchises like cod and FIFA can pull (plus R* obviously).
