Reviews in 4 days! So hyped! I'm even more hyped for Spider-Man though

Publishers typically only allow early reviews when they know their game is awesome. #Godofwar reviews are out on the 12th, nearly a week before the game's release.

I'll let you draw your own conclusions from that since I'm not allowed to talk about the game yet :)

But those reviews were in a controlled environment. And each reviewer just got 40 hours with it. While the staying at a hotel with all expenses paid during the 5 days they got to play the game

Yeah that's why it started out with a 96 on metacritic. It only dropped down to a 93 after the late reviews.

Sony sure expects something great but a lot of studios have been blindsided by reviews. Internal fake reviews can be pretty far from what actually ends up happening.

Over 10 days left and I'm surprised how high this is trending on various amazons around the world. Even in Japan where this series isn't popular it's #10.

If reviews are 90+ the hype will be insane and so will the sales. Surely it will be by far the biggest launch ever especially with the ps4 and pro in their primes and dominating the market.

I can see why Sony didn't permanently cut the price last holiday. They were confident their line up for the first half of 2018 would maintain good sales.
