Lol. Balrog and the Santa Monica devs are proven. Everything looking amazing so far.

There were plenty of skeptics before The Order r released (like about its gameplay, qte stuff)

Not with a three hour demo. :P

Also there was a good amount of concern with The Order.

Yes but it had a lot of people saying they were worried about certain things too. Plus, these guys got to play 3 hours of God of War, which is pretty much half of the total length of The Order. I'm guessing they didn't get anywhere near that long with The Order, so were only shown the best stuff. 3 hours is a much better time to give a good preview.

One of the biggest complaints of The Order, especially from me, was that it was so short, and we already know this game is like 5x longer!

The fudgy combos you can do with the axe and shield look so fudgy good!  April 20th can not come fast enough.

Did it? I remember previews being fairly lukewarm for that game. At least it had a fair few outlets being pretty meh on it during previews as well.

Ones that were overly optimistic even against criticism.

A lot of the good things about The Order I'd still say are mostly true, they got overhyped.  Like the visuals are awesome.  The gameplay is usually good, but there's not enough of it.  

In that thread we pretty much dismissed all the criticisms as trolls.

Yeah, and I'm still quite positive on the game too. Its just a shame its so short imo

On the one hand, I like the old combat better, it was more strategic (So far).  On the other hand, I really like lock on/strafing gameplay and I'm glad to see it after such a long absence (I think Vanquish was the last shooter to have it, Zelda otherwise?)
