My heart is melting. This is reminding me of how incredibly excited I was when I opened the Wii for christmas ten years ago. It was the only console I got for christmas/ birthday that I hadn't asked for and knew I was getting and it was an amazing surprise. Ah to be a kid again.

I was like that when getting the original DS. My mom even put a soup can in the box to increase the weight and really make me not expect it.

The last system I was like that was probably the PS2.

Most of the systems I got since, were ones I paid for.

When I got the DS, it was because my parents said if I was good while getting my braces that I'd get one.

In hindsight I feel bad.

Today I learned its common for places to have laws about turning headlights on during the rain and during winter.

Seems stupid but maybe that's just because I've grown up in a state that doesn't need it.
