Why that's not his real account?

After reading through some of the tweets. It reads like a parody. Wouldn't be shocked if this was true though.

I was a member there up until it died, from 2008 onwards really, the only thing that made it good in my eyes was the gaming OT's and retro platform OT's, everywhere else was a slippery slope leading towards touchy subjects and politics, where discussion was less discussion and more a gauntlet of moderation designed to create group think and euthanize discourse, myself and many i know on gaf avoided such topics for that very reason, the brave few that dared even debate were lost on the battlefield, where people willing to have open discussion and apply due process, we're armed with plastic forks, and the moderators and users who chanted the narrative lined all sides with uzi's

It was clear all along that the moderation team would much rather just burn the place to the ground and get rid of everyone that didn't share their views, as evidenced by besadas Twitter posts about the plans for Resetera which reads like a troll imitating a leftist in the most extreme manner they can think of  only these people are actually serious.

A lot of the gaf community are decent people, but they're also the part of the gaf community that stuck to particular OT's and gave any questionable topic a wide birth.

Me? I won't lament it's death and I look forward to resetera being even more of a crazy Marxist bubble than gaf was, because at least if they're all hold up inside that fort of insanity, they aren't here or on other forums.

I was getting my hopes up that a neoneogaf was happening but this isn't it. Off topic on GAF was the weird place you only went to a few times a year. If the new site isn't gaming focused then what's the point? It'll just be a splinter forum that could have existed even while GAF was alive.
