Yeah etho that's really weird. Girls and guys can sleep in the same room together all the time here and naughtiness is not even considered by either.

No is no and should always be respected. Even if you think it's a "woman no", if anyone ever says no then that's when you stop. Most people respect that, but obviously some don't.

Normally is two people end up in a room together and have naughtiness, they pretty much knew it was going to happen before they got there.

Haha seems it did.

Wonder if they got overrun with people who were banned from the original.

some of the indie dev community has moved to the vice forum. I hope a better alternative can be found because I don't want to have to make an account over there just for that.

They definitely got a lot of 4chan people. Starting this whole thing with as little a plan as they seemingly had was just a recipy for failure.

Without access to the original GAF database, I don't know how a replacement could work. Way too many people hate gaf.

It won't and that's fine. People will get their gaming news from other places and when it came to anything else I maintain that the site had long since become almost entirely worthless anyways.
You did have a couple talented guys making gifs and stuff on there, but they can just migrate to places like twitter.

yea one of the things gaf had going was its heavy handed moderation,   in off topics it was highky politically motivated, and in gaming, they would very quickly ban any shenanigans.

They had such a large polulation base that they could afford massive review period for new members, and able to ban people like nothing.  its alot harder when starting from scratch.   any influx will have a vast amount of trolls,  but they need a strong influx to really get momentum.

Gaf's off topic was amazing, I'm gonna miss it.

All the overreaction in the Trump threads were glorious and there were always some interesting stories to read.

And I guess I'm gonna have to find somewhere else to keep up with gaming news now.
