How much do you pay attention to famous people?

I've always been an oddity in this department.
I've never really talked to anyone about actors and sometimes if a name comes up it connect to anything. "I have no idea who Bobby is, but okay go on with your story.".
I never paid attention to actor names at all.

When I was probably 12, I could probably name 2 actors, 1 sports team and person, 3 artists.  

8th grade was a big year for me, because I literally went from listening to (probably) 3 artists to like 8.  And it's when I started to Branch out and finding all kinds of new songs I like.  
Today I could easily find several hundred songs I like.  Probably couldn't always tell you the name, but words stick in there.  

Sports teams I still don't care about.  I literally find the statistic that "x million" people watch the super bowl more interesting than watching a football game.  I am very strange that way.  
I do have a bit of state pride, so I do like hearing that my state's big team won.  But aside from that, that's all I know.  I couldn't tell you who the players are, how well they are doing or anything else.  

Actors I know many more than I used to, but I still don't know all that many.

I could name a few scientists and mathematicians though.

I don't care about gossip and the like, but I do pay attention when it's something I'm interested in. I know a lot of actor names since I love movies.

Indirectly from wanting to listen to music on the radio but I end up hearing news from radio stations instead.

I dont read articles or watch news about them.


I see headlines from threads made on OT GAF and thats when I always ever know otherwise I wouldnt know :p.

I know a lot about world famous people. Not many American "footballers" though haha.
Then the past few years I've been heavily following the world football scene and playing fifa so I know quite a bit of names there

Oh and I know weirdly too much about celebs sometimes
