I'm really warming up to the show.

God of war, spiderman, days gone, uncharted, horizon, and sotc all looked really great. Detroit looked good too.

How do I make it where the thread is marked "read"

I still see it blue quote thingy ;(

Epic show that focused on what matters most games.

I find it funny seeing people complain about no new announcements and then complain they're taking too long to release their games.

Sony have a ton of titles to show off releasing this year and next year.  Many of them in the pre show. You hardly want them to announce another 2 awesome looking games set to release in 3 years?

Just enjoy the existing line up of titles and when the time is right they'll show off what's coming next.

The Detroit trailer just got uploaded to Sonys official channel, the fudgy thing seriously says "In Development for PS4" at the end.

TLOU2 could have been saved for this. Weird that it wasn't.

Yeah, it's freaking absurd. Like maybe there'll be more information coming from dev interviews over the week that change things, but I really don't see it.

Also I thought Days Gone looked more compelling this time. They are also apparently going to upload a different versiom of the demo to youtube in a couple weeks.

And Days Gone's upload also ends with "in development for the PS4" -.-

Gran turismo sport,  Knack 2 and God of war will definitely release before next e3.

BananaKing

seriously disappointing show. it was E3 2016 but with less stuff.

Days Gone looked great. Detroit too. Spiderman not so much. GoW looks great as well.

Wasn't it supposed to be for E3 and they moved it up?
Was probably what they were going to end the show on.

Quote from: Raven on Jun 13, 2017, 03:06 AMI really just think Sony hit a very particular point where their early announcements caught up to them. Like, at this particular point in time, they're not announcing much because either they need to show people games they announced but haven't shown much of or the other games they have are still a little too early to talk about. I'm thinking PSX this year is going to be what people were hoping Sony's E3 would be. That's a year since we first saw The Last of Us Part 2 and the last we saw of Death Stranding. That's 6 more months to give Sucker Punch. That's two years since the FF7 Remake was last shown in motion. More time for Japan Studio, who we know based on comments from various people at Sony has some stuff they're working on. Plus, things we don't know about just yet.
Yep.  Pretty much every one of their studios has something announced with a few exceptions, and it's hard to announce something new when everyone knows what you are making....

the-pi-guy

I'm sure Death Stranding is in no position to be shown again quite so soon, but there's another game.

Matterfall got shafted. It's slated to release August 15, but it wasn't shown at the pre-show or the conference.

It was in the pre-show.
